Research Students

Effy is a PhD student in Mathematical Sciences at RMIT University. Her research interests lie in optimisation and operations research, focusing on healthcare scheduling. Currently, she is working on a nursing allocation problem for home care. In this work, she explores how the problem can be formulated as a mathematical optimisation model and develops solution approaches to improve the efficiency of nurse allocation. She is supervised by Assoc. Professor Melih Ozlen and Dr. Sona Taheri.
