Yi is undertaking an OPTIMA Industry PhD Project with Melbourne Water. Her research involves the application of mathematical optimization techniques to address challenges in urban water systems. She is undertaking this research at the University of Melbourne, supervised by OPTIMA CI Prof. Kate Smith-Miles, and the University of Melbourne Professor Tim Fletcher, Matthew Burns and Rhys Coleman.
