David Adams is a PhD student at the University of Melbourne working at the intersection of Database systems and optimization focusing on how to optimally explore large datasets for knowledge discovery.

He also has interests in other areas such as combinatorial optimization and imperfect information game theory. He has a passion for highly efficient distributed code having spent the last 5 years working in HPC at the Pawsey Center and DUG Technology.
