Grace Chan: Grace is Senior IP Manager for the University of Melbourne, where she works to advise on intellectual property and manage the University’s portfolio of patents. She is also a scientist and a patent and trade marks attorney, and worked for several years in private legal firms before joining the University.
David Woollard: David leads the Knowledge Technology Transfer (K&TT) for the STEM portfolio within Research Innovation and Commercialisation (RIC). The team is responsible for supporting the technology transfer and licencing activities of the university and its associated relationships with venture funding bodies and industry partners in relation to university developed IP and technologies in the field of Physical sciences. He received his PhD from the University of Melbourne in the Dept of Veterinary Science and has over ten years of post-doctoral experience in the fields of vaccine development, virology, immunology, cancer biology, endocrinology and neuroscience.
